With support from JETRO, the Company will explore global development partnerships for its LAT1 inhibitor candidate APL1101

September 28, 2026

OSAKA, Japan — Atransen Pharma Ltd. (“Atransen Pharma” or the “Company”), led by CEO Tomoyuki Asano, announced its participation in BIO-Europe 2026, taking place November 9–11, 2026, at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.

Atransen Pharma has been selected for the BIO-Europe 2026 participation support program offered by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). The Company’s participation in the event is supported by JETRO.

BIO-Europe connects pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, research institutions, and investors worldwide to explore research collaborations, development partnerships, and licensing opportunities.

Atransen Pharma’s lead development candidate, APL1101, is an oral “locking” inhibitor targeting LAT1 (SLC7A5), a transporter responsible for amino acid uptake in cancer cells. LAT1 expression is elevated in various solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer. Preclinical studies of APL1101 have shown antitumor activity when administered alone and alongside immune checkpoint inhibitors.

During the event, Atransen Pharma will introduce its technology and development pipeline, with a focus on APL1101. Using the official partneringONE platform, the Company will engage with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, research institutions, and investors to explore research collaborations, co-development, licensing, and other partnerships that could support APL1101’s global development.

Organizations interested in the Company’s technology, development programs, or collaboration opportunities are invited to request a meeting through partneringONE or contact Atransen Pharma directly using the details below.
